Dangerous Behaviour...

It's been noted that in recent weeks
someone has created a bike racing track
through Ghost Wood.

Moss has been cleared on the ground,
and obstacles positioned for 'jumps'.

There are also visible bike tracks
in the mud.

This is a highly dangerous activity
in an area enjoyed by
dog walkers and families.

Colchester Borough Council are aware
and will be making the area safe.

Notices will be put up
and leaflets distributed locally.

You are urged to phone the police
if you see any bikes on the slopes
or in the woods.

We have to put a stop to this
before someone gets hurt!

Beautiful Bulbs...

It seems that the crocus bulbs,
which we planted recently,
are now beginning to flower.

What a lovely sight.

It's good to know
that they'll flower
year after year.

We hope that you all
enjoy them
as much as we do.

We can't wait for the daffodils to all come out!

Colchester.Website's primary mission
is to promote engagement through content
in order to help local people to connect with each other.
Here's a link to their site:

They've very kindly set up an account for

Colchester 101...

"Colchester 101 is a blog for the town of Colchester full of content that you won’t find anywhere else. We write about the music and arts scenes, and other subjects with a local flavour or that we believe are of interest to our readers."

Keep The Green Clean would like to thank Simon Crow and Colchester 101 for publishing this piece about the work that we do:
